Visual Voicemail Busy 2

Hi,

Anybody have experienced "busy" message on visual voicemail when trying to access personal but mostly group voicemail from remote site (SCN)

Ip Office 6.1(8),(16)
VMPRO 6.1(17) (Latest)
2008 R2 SP1
 
Either there aren't enough Voice Networking licenses so there is no path to get to the VM server at the central site or there aren't enough voicemail ports.

You can look at SSA and you'll see the conjestion count or errors under alarms that should tell you which it is.

I've checked and I've no license error except for VCM Migration Channel and I've never see SCN or Voicemail port usage more than 50% (32 scn channel / 24 voicemail Port)

There a limit of number of simultaneous access on group voicemail ?
On personal voicemail using VisualVoice, Busy appear but disapear after few seconds and we can listen voicemail

On Hunt group voicemail using VisualVoice, Busy may or not appear and we are unable to listen call

this problem occur in 2 different SCN Sites
Site A - 2 SCN IPO / linked with T1 5MB or 10MB
Site B - 3 SCN IPO / linked with T1 5MB or 10MB

Do you think about a network protocol issue ?
 
Voicemail is voicemail, there are no different protocols used for checking group messages vs personal messages.

Have you done any tracing in Monitor and DbgView? If you don't have DbgView you can get it off of my site (

I know but I check everything, our provider are unable to found a solution to it so,

last time I've check monitor and debugview i've see anything, When I've activate syslog on phones I receive some error about data receive error. VisualVoice sometime bug like:
-No sound
-Wrong voicemail (not what that user have choose)
-Delete 2 voicemail at once when VisualVoice seem to freeze after press the delete button

I think to install a Distributed Voicemail on local sites

I'm currently set with centralised voicemail with SCN TRUNK (no backup)

Realy weard to have this issue on 2 different installations and problem occur since we have installed our first system with 6.0(8) and currently at 6.1(12) with vmpro 6.1(17)

There was an issue on 6.0 with Visual VM and 9600 phones but that should have been fixed by 6.1(12). I know of no other issues but then I have a hard time keeping up with bugs in betas let along the GA versions as I don't get to touch many older production systems very often.

I noticed that but this error occured also on 1616 phones...and all my phone are 9650

I will read some other debug files monday ! Lot's of fun ;-)

I'm having the same issue. The customer has both 5600 and 9650 & 9608 phones. Everything works fine on the 5600 phones. I plan on opening a ticket on Monday. This was a strange issue because messages could be retrieved from the user mailbox but all of the HG mailboxes would show busy at first. Eventually they would become active but you cold never retrieve a message. DbgView showed that the phone was trying to retrieve messages for a user named AaBb. Customer started at 6.0 and then upgraded to 6.1.12. They have a two site SCN as well. If I find anything on Monday I'll provide an update.

We have open a ticket that have been escalated at avaya tier3 since march 2010

I currently try a distributed voicemail setup.

It's working great but phone doesn't show me the hunt group voicemail. Is it a limitation ?

Jimmy, did you add Hnameofgroup in to the users source code field?
You need to do this otherwise it won't show.

On the user's Source Number tab. If you had a group of say "Sales" you would need to add HSales to their list.

We are currently testing it on our lab

I didn’t receive a CQ number and there no CQ talking about this into the 6.1(20)

Bug is fix with 6.1(20) but dont update vmpro, We problem about call disconnect before access to menu or voicemail

I have the same problem except I have two remote scn sites. What's interesting is one works fine while the other does the busy thing described above. Systems started on r6.0 and have subsequently upgraded to r7. All sites and VMPro are all on R7 and still same issue at one site.

Please tell me someone has found a solution.
