hey all

i need help with a problem im having!!
my boss haes asked me to figure a way to access our e-mail accounts on exchang wile the server is off. can this be done and if so how do i do it??

if anyone can help with this plz let me know this is realy ergent!!

If your Exchange server is turned off then your not going to be able to access it so no, you can't access your mailbox on Exchange with the server turned off.
If your users are set up with 'cached exchange mode' then they will have a local copy of their mail up to the point where you turn the server off but they still won't be able to send or receive with the server down.
I take it you need to power off the server for maintenance?

No im new to the 'working' world. iv just started my job. iv only been working for 1.5 months now. my boss asked if it could be done and that i hade to find out. i found out it couldent be done so i dont have to do it anymore but thnx for the reply aich69
