I have a small server with a number of nfs shares (fedora 12) but whenever i mount this share the uid's & gid's appear to be squashed

/etc/exports

CODE

/storage *(rw,nohide)

Uid's are the same on both systems

can anyone advise where this is going wrong?

Not as big an issue as I thought
when doing an ls -la of the mounted fs all the filles shaw as being owned by Nobody but the actual user & group permissions are still being recognised.
(user1 canot write to a directory owned by user2)

it would be nice to see the full ownership but it is not 100% necessary.
