KX-TD1232 & KX-TVS120 with auto attendant let phone ring early morning

Hi, I'm new in the forum. I was hoping someone might have seen this before and could point me in the right direction, I would highly appreciate it.

So, we have two D1232 and a TVS120(voice recorder). The day times are set from 8:30am to 7:00pm and the rest is left for night time. All 3 machines are connected trough com ports to a 2000 windows server.

Everything has worked correctly for the last 5 ~ 6 years, until a week ago. One of our CSRs usually comes in at 7:30am and first thing she does is check the phones are working. She noticed that our main line, when called, would keep ringing and our auto attendant did not pick up until around 9:00am. I came in one morning to check it out for myself, and heard crackling on the line once the attendant picked up but could barely make out what she was saying, then would hang up maybe 3 seconds after picking up. That happened only once, all other times the line keeps ringing.

after 9:00am everything is fine tho. What's really extrange to me is that our 1877 number works correctly(which I believe goes through the same system).

We called the phone company to see if it was something on their end. They said that they would setup a system check for the next day, and said everything was fine on their end. But they day they checked... there was no issue with our attendant, except for some light crackling the first time I called to check that morning.

I am not the one who originally installed the system, and have little knowledge about pbx system, tho I am a software developer by profession and can usually figure things out on my own, except for this one.

Sorry about the long post, but any help at all would be appreciated.

have you checked the time on the tvs and the mode on the system when it does not work.
what controls time service, the system or the tvs?
what is the server connected to the systems for, programming or collecting smdr?

Haven't checked the time or mode as of yet, didn't know much about the system until today(read most of installation manual for both), I will check it tomorrow morning when it happens again, for sure.

I'm pretty sure its the D1232 system controlling the time, but I'll check.

The server is for programing/settings. and accessing phone call records.

Thanks

it depends on the version, the older units the clock in the vm is seperate. if you get a message is the time of the call correct
