We need to upload a file to a client site but the users created the filename with a space External Information Package.zip. I tried using quotos and nothing happens
ftp > put "External Information Package.zip"

please help!

With globbing turned on, try using mput with a wildcard - something like:

CODE

ftp -> mput *Package.zip

You can use this syntax:

put External\ Information\ Package\ .zip

Notice the space and the backslash!
