Help getting around McAfee Safeboot

Merlin182 (MIS)

I have a laptop that is full hard drive encrypted.  The install of Safeboot endpoint encryption went very long and now no one can log into the PC (past the safeboot screen at start up).  Also the challenge codes do not work from the laptop to the safeboot server.  does anyone know how to get get to the c drive so i can copy the users data off.  (I don't even care if I have to use DOS to do it).  Really hate to tell my user I just lost over a years worth of data.

thanks group
