I have ran across this a couple times where the intercom key on an extension of a Merlin switch is queued to another extension and the user is unable to dial out. i'm not sure how it happens and how to correct it other than to power cycle the phone switch.

I have never seen an extension "QUEUED" to another extension, but I can certainly see how it could be possible, and how it could be prevented.

The Legend/Magix will "Queue" you up if you try to call a busy extension or access a busy facility (line or pool)

I would venture to guess that the reason this has become a problem is because the extensions involved have only 1 or 2 system access buttons, thus the calling party can be placed in queue.

If that extension has no more available SA buttons, then it would be "QUEUED UP".

Again, I have never seen this, but it just maybe happening that way.

Yes they do only have the default 2 Int Ring and Int Voice on buttons 1 and 2. When you press button one it is saying Queued to ext XXX. I have also seen before where it is on both buttons 1 and 2. I figured it was an accidental feature someone was putting in when playing with the phone and haven't figured out a way to resolve it other than power cycling the system.

Then, you can fix it by adding some SA originate only buttons on the sets. The default SA button arrangement is SA RING, SA VOICE/RING, and SA ORIGINATE ONLY. Someone must have removed them!

i don't see the option to add a SA originate only button. I have SysAcc-00 and SysAccess
