We noticed that this PIX is rebooting every twelve hrs just about to the minute.

After searching I found that the auto-update is set to 12 hrs as a default. I tried to remove that feature with a no auto-update device-id  , didn't get any error but it still lists it when I do a show auto-update

I changed the poll-period to once a week just now to see if that will help

cpu usage and mem usage look fine

anyone else have any ideas ?

I think if the license is a Fail-Over only license then it reboots periodically?  I can't remember if its 12-hours though?
Do a 'show ver' and see whether thats it?

I saw the bit about failover (it's 24 hrs for that) but it is a full licensed PIX . It also rebooted again last night so I guess I haven't fixed it with the changes I made
Thanks
Norm
