Window > Freeze Not Working in OOO Calc

I am trying to freeze the top row of cells. I go to Window > Freeze and nothing happens. I have another spreadsheet and this is working. Any ideas what might be preventing the Freeze function from working?

I'm running Open Office 3.1.1 on Kubuntu 9.10.

Just to state the obvious, is your "selected cell" such that there's anything to freeze?

Make sure you are in row two (2) of the spreadsheet if you want to freeze row 1 and then choose the freeze option.  You always need to make sure that your cursor is somewhere in the row beneath the rows that you want to freeze.  This will freeze all rows above the current row that you are in.

Hope this helps!

Hey undoIT,

It is both annoying and its not acceptable etiquette both here at Tek-Tips or anywhere else on the web, to post a question and never acknowledge an answer to your question or a resolution to your question.

So please do so.
