Superloader 3 Firmware Failure

Upgrading superloader 3 firmware to V61 and it goe through 100%, then upon rebooting, loader say Upgrade Failure. This loader states that it has a X54.1 firmware revision. I have no clue what firmware this is because usually it says Vxxx but not Xxxx. Anybody have a notion what firmware this is and how it can be over-written with the new V61 from Quantum?
