In relation to this thread thread690-1312878, i already configured my vu-stat display as follows:

display vustats-display-format 2
VUSTATS DISPLAY FORMAT

Format Number: 2 Object Type: agent
Next Format Number: none Update Interval: 10 On Change? y
Data Field Character: $
Number of Intervals:

Format Description: SPLIT#=$$$ WAITING=$$ OLDEST=$$$$$

Data Type Format Period Threshold RC Ref
1: split-number 2
2: split-calls-waiting 2
3: split-oldest-call-waiting m:ss 2
4:
5:
6:
7:
8:
9:
10:

and then on the station for itself i put:

23: vu-display Fmt:2 ID:

But the thing is, the I cannot press this button, its greyout so i cannot press it. How does this works? I just read the documentation on the said, link that was provided, i already configured the my, sys fea, trunk, vdn (measured internal), login ID, hunt group #, i logged in my agents, and do a monitor bcms split, and calls are already on-going... all is working well on the basic acd distribution but the vu-stat button doest work at all.

Is this instantaneous? I mean when i configure the vustats-display-format and configure the vu-stat on the extension will it work already?

I'm currently using CM5.1.1

Kindly advise.

By the way, im just using my ip softphone to use this vu-stat display.

This vu-stats button is programmed to provide data for the second split/skill assigned to the agent login ID. If there is no second split/skill assigned, it wouldn't show you anything.

You would also have to be logged in as an agent for this vu-stats button to be active. It provides the data for the second split/skill assigned to the agent login ID that's logged into the station where the vu-stats button is programmed.

I'm logged-in to the extension, just like what i said, call distribution on basic ACD is already working, calls are coming in, and when i do a mon bmcs spli 2, i can show calls are waiting, the agent logged in etc.

Is this instantaneous? Will it really show? Do i have to press it to show the details that i have programmed on the display vustats-display-format 2? or is it automatic? Is it ok if u could enlighten me on this?

As I said before. The vustats button you have programmed will only show information about the SECOND ASSIGNED SKILL. Not skill group (hunt group) 2.

Look at the agent below. If he were logged-in, and had a button like you have described above, it would only show information for skill group 100. If there were no second skill group for this agent, (just skill group 110) then the button would show nothing.

If you are looking for information about skill group 2 as defined as hunt-group 2 in your system, you'll need to create a different vu-stats button. The object-type would be "split". Not agent.

Hi Dufus,

Your license is under, Elite License, and mine is just Basic License. I only have the following configuration:

1 hunt group specifically hunt group #2
1 agent login ID
1 VDN
1 vector
2 extension (ext A is member of hunt group 2 and ext B for dialing the VDN, and my mobile phone by dialing the the DID number.

I started at vustats-display-format # 2 and i configured the following information so that agents can see what hunt group are they into and what hunt group number. So basically straight forward. I just monitoring 1 hunt group. Agent is the best scenario for my Object type based on the manual. But sad to say it, the button was greyout.

Change the vustats button to this: (trust me)

display vustats-display-format 2
VUSTATS DISPLAY FORMAT

Format Number: 2 Object Type: agent
Next Format Number: none Update Interval: 10 On Change? y
Data Field Character: $
Number of Intervals:

Format Description: SPLIT#=$$$ WAITING=$$ OLDEST=$$$$$

Data Type Format Period Threshold RC Ref

2: split-calls-waiting 1
3: split-oldest-call-waiting m:ss 1
4:
5:
6:
7:
8:
9:
10:

Note that the ref changes from 2 to 1.

Got it man, thanks.

Ref — A reference to a split/skill; this field does not appear unless the
Object Type is either ‘‘agent’’ or ‘‘agent-extension.’’ This field is required
only if the data type is an agent-related data type collected on a per-split
basis or split related data type for one of the agent’s logged-in splits. Enter
one of the following values:
‘‘all’’ (if the associated data type is acd-calls, average-acd-talk-time,
shift-acd-calls, or shift-average-acd-talk-time), ‘‘1,’’ ‘‘2,’’ ‘‘3,’’ or ‘‘4.’’
‘‘all’’ indicates that VuStats displays the combined data for all the splits to
which the agent has logged in. The numbers 1 through 4 represent a split
to which the agent logged in. For example, if the Ref field contains ‘‘1,’’
VuStats displays the data for the first split the agent entered, if the Ref field
contains ‘‘2,’’ VuStats displays the data for the second split the agent
entered, and so on.
