Understanding Platinum Tables When Exported to Access

Hi - We recently exported Platinum database tables into Micorsoft Access for data analysis. When the Platinum tables were converted to Access, we could not make any sense of the tables. Has anyone ever done this before, and if so, could you provide any information on understanding Platinum data tables when converted to Access tables?
