I have a customer ordering with a provisional and actual order, i cannot get them to stop sending the provisional order but the only thing i can see within the file is "typ=0350" this is always within the provisional order and not within the actual order. Does anyone know what this means?

Would I be right in thinking this is a Tradacoms ORDHDR version 9 message?

If so the TCDE element in the TYP is used to specify what "flavour" of document is contained within the message.

Codes that begin 03 and 04 are all used for ORDHDR (normal order) and CORHDR (complex order) messages but there are loads of others for all the other document types. By far the most common for orders are 0430 (new orders) and 0350 (proposed orders)
