Whats the deal with using virtual stations and the aut-msg-wt buttons with IA770. i noticed it actaully works on CM5.0 with IA770 but it doesnt work with CM5.1 with an LX. is it something about IP trunking that allows to work or did they break it in 5.1? IN the past i always used a 6408 that i aliased for a mailbox, but it would be great to not use a license.

Well.....the virtual's were never meant to give message lights as they removed the field to set LWC Reception and Audix Name. With an LX, you probably need to add the Audix name to get message lights working which is not available with the virtual statiions (has nothing to do with your CM release). Another way to get msg lights without a license is to make them VDN's or agent ID's.
