Hi all!

We're running NW5.1 SP6 with eDir 85.30. What I need to do is change a setting on multiple users (like hundreds of them) in a timely way. Specifically I want to set/unset "Password Never Expires". I'm aware of the security implications of that but there are good reasons for it.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
Ian

In NWADMIN32 :
You can easily select multiple users in the same OU by using the same technique as in Windows. (CTRl click, SHIFT Click etc). You can only do this in the smae OU though you cannot span mulitple OUs at the same time.
Then click OBJECT in the menu, then Details On Multiple Users. This will give you the standard User template where you can make global changes. Be aware that making these global changes does not mess up other settings ie if you have a mixture of disabled accounts with active ones and leave this setting alone, when you submit the global change it will mark these accounts as active ! This is just a gotcha to be aware of.

There is a way of doing it across Org Units from ConsoleOne as I recall, but I can't find my notes!!!!
