Does anyone know of a free (or very low cost) tool that will allow wrapping and unwrapping of x12 files?  Thanks!

I should elaborate.  I'm looking to WRAP a file (most folks want to unwrap).  Any tips would be appreciated.  Thanks.

What platform are you running on?

Windows.  I found a pretty easy way to wrap the files using UltraEdit.  It takes two steps (it wraps, but inserts a space, so I then have to replace the segment terminator + space with only the terminator).
I'm having problems unwrapping in UltraEdit though.  I want to be able to specify the segment terminator and have it unwrap based on that, rather than blocked or "end of window".

Thanks

My translator(s) are on UNIX/LINUX, so I don't have a easy solution for you. I have, and use UltraEdit also, but have not used it for wraping files.

When your using ultra edit are you puting the file into hex first.  I found it pretty easy to both wrap and unwrap after converting the entire file over into HEX.
