I have been told that if I have the license for mobile twinning, and a PRI T1 that (depending on the carrier) the incoming caller's caller ID info will pass through the switch to my cell phone. So if David calls Joe at ABC company and Joe's phone has a license seat for mobile twinning and the feature is activated, Joe's cell phone will show David's caller ID, not ABC company's. Has anyone used this feature? I am looking at an IP500 for this reason and this reason only. Any feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Goto System > Twinning > Send Original Party Information for Mobile Twinning: Default = On

Send Original Party Information for Mobile Twinning: Default = On

When on, the IP Office will attempt to send the ICLID information provided with the incoming call to the twinning destination. Depending on the services provided by the line provider, this information may not be allowed in which case it may either be removed or the twinned call blocked. If this occurs, the Calling Party Information for Mobile Twinning field should be used to send information that is acceptable to the line provider.

If this will not work, then your provider will not allow it, some providers can turn it on if you like.
