Recording a web app in QTP 9.2 as a "Window" and not a "Browser&q

Hi all,

I am currently scripting in QTP 9.2 and I seem to have a problem when it comes to recording a web application.

It seems that when i recorded initially, I would see the following :
Browser("*application*").Page("*application*")...etc
Now when I record I see :
Window("Microsoft Internet Explorer").ActiveX...etc.

NB. the following add ins are used :
.Net,Active X,Web and WPF.

any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks,
hansjees

When you click on record you are given the option to record on a web application or a windows application.  Ensure you've selected the correct one before you begin recording and all will be well.

Cheers,
Dave
