ATA and Cordless Feature Codes

Internal Features: *70 = Transfer and *71 = Link
So what you are saying is you can do a link and a transfer but no other features? those same codes are for External are for forwarding lines.

So to Page you would do FLASH * 611

BTW what do you suggest is the best way for the operator to transfer the ext. users who ae calling in from outside to their VM to check for messages? Is there a way to send them right to a prompt that requests their MB and PW.

They are using ** when the AA answers but this is during the day.

They do FLASH * 986 and any mailbox.
Or FLASH * 70 XXX (XXX= voice mails DN)
They still need to do ** no matter what gretting they then hear.

I am sorry I meant a receptionist using a 7310 or T7316 when the ext. users calls in and wants to pick up their personal messages from their own MB.

Ftr986, Mbox # on keypad, it needs DTMF.

To simplify, anytime a user is in vm (whether in a MB, or AA), **, MB&pswd will get them into their mailbox, regardless of how they got there.
