Hi All,
again I am coming to you all for some help..UGH...
I am building a system with an asus a7a266 board, 1.4 athlon,512 mg crucial ram, and an ATI rage pro 32mg video card. This is my problem..When I load the drivers for the video card the system will not boot to the OS..it simply hangs at a blank screen. If i go into safe mode and just run the standard vga drivers i can boot without problem. If I load the video drivers again..same thing..
The os im running is WinME..the monitor is an NEC Flatscreen 19 inch...
what do you all think is the problem? incompatible drivers?
I am ready to throw this thing out the window..please help me ..
thanks so much

ATI cards are notorious for coming with faulty drivers.  try going to their website.  As they probably have a patch or two.  Do this, and I think you'll be fine.
