Hi,
I am fairly new to IPOffice and I was wondering if it is possible to downgrade the system. My system is used in the Interop testing lab and sometimes we need to test our PBX with older release of software.

I was thinking about maintaining two different versions of a Manager on two different PCs, only one PC would powered up at the time.
I would only have to reboot the PBX to upgrade or downgrade.

Can anyone tell me if this plan will work?

Thanks

It does just point to the older version of the bin files when doing the same as an upgrade.

I guess then that I don't fully understand an upgrade process. What exactly is happenning during an upgrade?
Last time our IPOffice was upgraded, all the work seems to me was done on the Manager PC, then the PBX was rebooted and that was it.

File>Change Working Directory> in the bottom box (Binary Directoy), this is where Manager looks for the .bin files. You need to point this to what version .bin files your want to downgrade too. then once you go to File>Advanced>Upgrade it should show you the version available you want to downgrade too.

not a problem, i am also fairly new at this... i figure if i can give a little then i can get a little whenever needed:) this forum is a good forum, there are people in here that have many years of experience... so i would recommend keeping it on your favorites.

Give a little get a little is exactly how it works here.
