This is similar to the question I asked at thread907-1280559: Delete configuration without doing factory reset

I want to know what the equivalent of unset all is on a Netscreen 204.  Anybody got any ideas at all?

Hi,

I'm not sure if it's possible.  I normally make a backup of the config and login with the serial number for both name and password.

Not sur ewhat you're asking for... unset all is the command to use to reset the device.

Type 'unset all'
then type 'reset'
It will say config has been modified - do you want to save? Say 'NO'
It will ask if you're sure you want to reset? Say 'YES'

Sorry for the late response.  However, from what I can tell, Packet7 is correct - this isn't possible on a NetScreen 204 - I think it's only possible on the lower models like 5GT.  I'm open to correction, but I'm 99% sure that this is the case
