Interesting Coverage Remote Problem... 1

I know it is too simple, but do you have a 9 in front of the numbers....

does a list trace show you anything?

Just a thought: assuming you are using (TAC) 9 to dial out, then 11 digits for a long distance call or 10 for local 10 digit dialing: what are the additional digits for? If this is an international call, it could be a timing issue that needs a couple of pauses ~P. If there is a device that requests input (i.e.; password or pin number) you will need to add one pause (~p) for each 1.5 seconds of speech input. Let me know if this helps or post the number that you are dialing and the sequence of events and will try to assist further.

Just got off the phone with Avaya and they mentioned if you max out a remote coverage line it automatically rolls to the next line. This is to support an ARS entry of 16+ digits.

The coverage remote tables are the only tables that behave this way.

That is very strange. So if you have a long number in coverage remote, say slot 1. Don't use slot 2 unless you want coverage remote 1 to roll to slot 2.

Exactly - only if it completely fills the allowable character spacing (16 characters).

I guess I never used 16+ digits as most of my coverage remote enteries are 9 1 201 555 1212 or a 5 digit extension. I will have to try to this out.
