Sync up users with NDS and Windows 2003

I have a Windows 2003 server used as a web server that we are going to bring up on line and is going to have to have the users names and passwords synchronized with Netware 6.5 and windows 2003 server. I was told that the best way to do this is to install Edirectory to the windows server added it to the Netware tree and should be able to add users and sync the passwords from the Netware server and the windows server. Has any one have any input on using this type of connection.

Just putting edir on the box won't sync it with AD.  edir won't manage AD accounts and AD won't manage eDir accounts.

You're going to need a sync mechanism like and IDM AD connector.

Right now the Windows server is not setup for AD and was told for just E Directory on one windows server as the web server AD was not needed. or would it be better to setup and IDM server and setup the web server with AD.
Im just trying to come up with a cheep way to do this with out buying another server.

Novell Account Manager can do it, but it's no longer avilale for purchase ... Novell replaced it with IDM, but the drivers that would do what you want are not included.
