From the "I hope nobody else has to live through this" file:

When upgrading a CP server to 4.0, make sure to install the number of languages that is indicated in your keycode. We upgraded a 1002rp 2.02 server to 4.0 and when we were done could not start any channels or keep the ELAN up. After getting someone on from Nortel, we were told about this piece of information. It would have helped to have it in the upgrade guide, but it is Nortel after all. If they truely documented all of their problems, the world would run out of hard drive space. The upgrade guide only reads "Choose the languages that you want to install". We chose only english and had nothing but problems. Once we installed 6 languages which matched our keycode, everything worked fine. The Nortel engineer pointed to this immediately so it must have come up at least several times to them in the past. You would hope this would have caused a bulletin to be issued, but oh well....

Hope this helps
Rob
