Any Intuity (Audix MAP5-P) gurus on here?  I have not seen any threads on this voice mail system.  Need some help, or is this not appropriate here?  Tnx.

You're better off posting in the Definity forum, more likely to find people there with the answers.  What's your question?  I install and configure Intuity.

I will pose the question here before taking it to the Definity forum.  Intuity is hanging from a Legend R.7 network (Master, two Slaves), 12 ports, approx. 200 vm users.  We are original owner but have only password access for sa. I want to reduce possible downtime from a crashed system (most likely hard drive). Do not have access to turn on mirroring for backup, and am relying on daily tape backup. First choice is to acquire a complete Audix box but have not been able to locate; next choice is to use a spare SCSI drive and build a system backup, cutting downtime to restoring from most recent daily tape.  I have been told both that the daily tape holds only vm data, but also that it is the complete system.  Which is correct?  And can I do a system build without more passwords?
Thanks, Bob

SA login should be able to do everything you want.  Tape backup should be complete, do the following:

Customer/Services Administration
   Backup/Restore
      View Contents of Disk

Will show what's on your tape backup (install tape first, of course)

Also, to install a hard drive is within the same menu tree:

Customer/Services Administration
   System Management
     Disk Management
       Install Disk

I suggest going to avaya.com and pulling the Intuity documentation for disk installation procedures before attempting the install if you don't already have said docs.
