IDM 3 JDBC Driver - Group Memberships

TomBarrand (Programmer)

Hi,

I am using the JDBC driver with IDM3 connecting to an Oracle database and I need to handle group memberships.

I have got the sample scenario working but when I try and apply it to my scenario I am having difficulties. I have a PERSON table, a GROUP table and a PERSONSGROUP table. From the name of the tables it should be obvious what each table holds. The PERSONSGROUP table store what groups a person belongs to.

Does anyone know what the syntax below means. I have read the documentation but it is unclear.

When I try and start the driver I get the following error:

'fk_mv_INTGROUPIDCNT_mbr_of'. Foreign key missing required referenced column name.

fk_mv__idg__mbr_of -- extra-referential foreign key column; refers
-- to primary key column idg in view_grp;
-- multi-valued

Any help on this is much appreciated as it is very important.

Cheers

Tom
