Where can I get one?  I bought one from IERcomputer.com, but it was only a replacement refill, and I need the whole thing.  Somebody has to sell them somewhere!

Ok, You need the 250 sheet Legal tray for a LJ4.  IF this machine is a LJ4+ it REQUIRES a different tray, here are the part numbers:

HP LaserJet 4/4M 250 Sheet Universal Tray
Part Number:  C2085A
List Price:  $109.00

HP LaserJet 4+/4M+ 250 Sheet Universal Tray
Part Number:  C2085D
List Price:  $107.00

My company is an HP Reseller and can get these for you, our phone number is 800-213-1112.

One thing, you mention you bought one and got a refill.  Are you instead talking about the optional 500 Sheet tray?  If so, we can't buy them from HP anymore, it's no longer manufactured.  You can TRY www.hpshopping.com (home products) or www.buy.hp.com (business products).  You could also try second hand stores.  Here's the part numbers to help:

HP LaserJet 4/4M 500 Sheet Feeder
Part Number:  C2083A

HP LaserJet 4+/4M+ 500 Sheet Feeder
