Hi all
Very strange problem which has me stumped.
I have one user with issues in office (Word and Excel) when opening\saving docs. The error only occurs on one box (Citrix Server) and not on any other workstation and does not affect any other user who logs into this box. ie Problem is issolated to that user only on that box.
The error is "Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error" - I also get an error relating to not being able to read or save the normal.dot file.
Excel has similar file permission errors, files can not be saved on the Network or locally while in a MS office product, but a file can be created using explorer etc to the same locations.
Seems like a setting which relates to office has got screwed up, but I have little knowledge in this area. It would be good if I could just re-install for this user and not affect anyone else as it is a production Citrix Server.
Our Network Shares are Novell and the permissions are fine for this users who happily works from her workstation without a problem.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
David
