On UNIX, when doing a ps -ef | grep java, the following processes names are displayed:
/opt/WebSphere/AppServer/java/bin/../bin/sparc/native_threads/java -Xms50m -Dwa
/opt/WebSphere/AppServer/java/bin/../bin/sparc/native_threads/java -Xbootclassp
/opt/WebSphere/DeploymentManager/java/bin/../bin/sparc/native_threads/
java -Xms

Can somebody please clarify which process is the Application Sever, the Deployment manager and Node agent?

Thanks

#ps auxwww|grep java
if you can carefully look at the output, you will find the difference.
