We have just installed a new server with SBS2003 and are wanting to use the exchange server.
The software is set up and we as you would expect we can E-mail each other within the LAN and we can mail out ok.
At the moment we use a web hosting company to collect our mail then we use Outlook to view it.
My question is do I just get the web hosting company to forward all our mail to me external IP?? I have already forwarded port 25 to the SBS.
I have heard the phrase MX mail record. Is this is what is ment by forwarding the mail to our IP
