I have a Option 61C and I also have a crazy guy that keeps calling and making threatning phone calls. The management would just like to block that one cell phone. Is there anything that I can do?
Thanks

No. You can do nothing because switch does not analise callers id on incoming calls.

if you have symposium, and you can route that call thru that server you can block by inbound clid.. another way, one that has worked for me is, transfer, 9,911 transfer.. callers usally perfer not to talk to 911 dispatch, and 911 dispatch, calls back or dispatches a unit to a hangup

johnpoole,
The 911 service in my area would dispatch a State Cop to my building if I transferred a call to 911. Very little sense of humour, also illegal.
Loved the idea though.

Well that is a clever idea but I don't have a symposium, and I am in Romania, and not sure how the romanian officails, if they found out, would feel about that. I was trying to do a work around with Callpilot and creating an SDN that points to an Information mailbox and then hangs up on them. I can't remember what I came up with but I decided that wouldn't work and just left it alone hoping he won't call back.
Thanks for all the help and any additional help!
