ok - I am just trying to plan out my February & March for the "Bobs" (aka - the boss types).

We are on SQL 2k going to SQL 2005 soon and on GP v8 going to v9 so that we can take advantage of some of the new GP integration with MS CRM.

I have been through GP upgrades before - just curious how the exeperience has been with the upgrade from 8 to 9 for most folks. Our upgrade from 6 to 7 was VERY painful, 7 to 7.5 was slightly painful, 7.5 to 8 was just long (no pain) because of the size of the databases and some problems getting FRx to upgrade properly (we went back to 6.5).

Not that I am paranoid - I just figure that everyone is out to get me.

so - if you have done the upgrade - how did it go? We have yet to have our 'partner' even get me the media even though I know that they have it in house, so...

Thanks in advance!

Our DB is 6gb and it upgraded without any problems and it didn't take long, under 2hrs. We use financial, purchasing, sales, inventory, & manufacturing.

But I always upgrade in a test environment first, just in case.
