I am trying to connect a buffer box to the BCM, I currently have a serial cable connected to the 9 pin connector on the front of the BCM, can I get CDR records through this connection? I know I can do a FTP push or pull through ethernet but because of a file conflict with my CDR vendor name I can't do that.

To my knowledge, there is no way of getting CDR data using a serial cable connected directly to the BCM.

You will need to connect a buffer that has LAN connectivity and use the CDR Push mechanism.

I have used Omnitronix in the past.

It seems to work well. There are others like WTI's Pollcat.

RSI also offers a software buffer called Winlink IP & Serial Data Storage at
Stockman16.

Yeah, we have a buffer box pollsafe DL-50. I just founD that we will need to step that up to a DL-150 for a iprc option that will allow the buffer to communicate to the BCM.thanks....
