"...Since using forums in my early days 10 years ago in CompuServe, one had to log back on and sometimes wait days for a response. Now I get a response e-mailed to me which I can click a link and go right back to exactly where My post was..."

Moving objects-new context

How do you move and object to a new Container?
Posted: 13 Mar 01

In NWADMIN, highlight the object you wish to move.  Choose OBJECT | MOVE from the menu or press <F7>.
Use the navigation button to select the new context.  One thing to keep in mind, when you move an object, it will loose any permissions that were set to the old OU (since it is no longer in that OU).  Therefore you will need to reassign such rights either to the User, the new OU or use a group.

PS this also works on Netware 4.x
