MaxUsers error, NET3101 error

No resources avail
Posted: 27 Nov 02 (Edited 6 Jan 03)

If Win2K clients or other MS clients are receiving "No resources available" when loging on to an OS/2 WSeB server or the server reports error "NET3101" you may solve your problem using the REXX programs in NET3101.ZIP available from HOBBS. The current url is: http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/cgi-bin/h-viewer?sh=1&fname=/pub/os2/util/network/lansrv/net3101.zip

The problem starts when the MS client logs off and does not release all assigned resources used on the OS/2 server.  Over a period of time the list of unreleased resources reach or exceed the maxusers limit and the clients can no longer log on.

The readme.txt has the usage and setup directions.

Thanks to Colin Haynes for pointing me to the solution.

Good luck
